From hair sample to personalized answers
How it worksWhat is bioresonance testing?
Every substance - a food, a pollen, a skincare ingredient - has its own unique electromagnetic frequency. Your body's cells do too. Bioresonance testing measures those signals.
A machine captures the electromagnetic signals present in your hair sample and compares them against an extensive database of stored frequencies for over 1,500 items you may eat, breathe, or come in contact with. When outside frequencies interrupt the body's natural communication system, the result can show up as intolerance symptoms - digestive discomfort, skin reactions, fatigue, headaches, brain fog, and more.
This technology was first developed in Germany in 1977 and is used around the world as a safe, non-invasive form of wellness assessment. UCARI's tests are physician-approved and processed at a US lab.
Four steps from kit to results
Everything you need is included in your kit. No doctor's visit, no appointment, no waiting room.
Register your unique kit ID
Your kit arrives with a welcome folder containing your unique kit ID and instructions. Go to UCARI.com and register your ID to link your sample to your secure account before you mail anything.
Collect your hair sample
Gather 10–15 strands of hair from your head. No washing needed beforehand, just avoid heavy styling products like gel or hairspray. If your hair is very short or you're bald, body hair works too (aim for about 25 strands). Colored or chemically treated hair is typically fine.
Mail your sample
Place your hair sample in the included collection bag and seal it in the prepaid return envelope. Drop it in any mailbox. Shipping is always free. For best results, mail your sample within two weeks of collecting it.
Get your results online
You'll receive an email when your sample arrives at our US lab, and another email when your results are ready, typically within 1–2 business days of receipt. Log into your secure portal at UCARI.com to view your full color-coded report. Mail transit can take up to 10 business days.

The Nutritional Reboot
Every UCARI kit includes the Nutritional Reboot, a straightforward three-part elimination and reintroduction plan designed to help you act on your results. Rather than a generic elimination diet, the Reboot is built around your specific results so you're focusing on the items that matter most to you and your pet’s health.

Is this the same as an allergy test?
No. Allergies involve an immune response and can be immediate and severe. UCARI screens for intolerance-style reactions, which are typically non-immune and may be delayed, showing up hours or even days after exposure. If you suspect a true allergy, consult a licensed healthcare provider.
Is UCARI a medical diagnosis?
No. UCARI is a wellness screening tool designed to help identify potential patterns and guide your next steps. It does not diagnose, treat, or cure any medical condition. Many customers share their results with a doctor, nutritionist, or wellness coach as a helpful starting point.
Do I need to stop any medications before testing?
No changes to medications or supplements are needed to complete the test. If you're considering changes for health reasons, speak with your healthcare provider first.
How often should I retest?
Many customers choose to retest every 3–4 months, especially after making changes to their diet or routine, to see how patterns may shift over time. Intolerances can change. Foods that triggered reactions may become tolerable after a period of elimination and reintroduction.
Who is UCARI suitable for?
UCARI kits are suitable for people ages 10 and above. Pet kits are available for both dogs and cats. Each person or pet needs their own kit with a unique kit ID.
Can I use HSA or FSA benefits?
In many cases, yes. Check with your plan administrator for eligibility and any documentation requirements. UCARI does not require a doctor's visit or prescription.
